Shamrock Lakes Sewer Phase 2 Largely Complete, One Pipe Repair Deferred to Phase 3

From the Shamrock Lakes Town Board meeting on July 16, 2026

John Gunner from Fluid Services completed a full review of all Phase 2 sewer inspection reports and video, finding the system in good shape overall. One buried handhole was discovered between handholes 23 and 24. The board will locate it on the map and inspect.

A previously identified pipe sag on North Shamrock Road near the dam remains an issue. When a sinkhole repair was recompacted, it pushed the sewer line down, creating a dip. Fluid Services recommends straightening the line but classified it as neither an emergency nor immediately critical. Travis Williamson will review the video.

The board's consensus was to treat Phase 2 as essentially complete, deferring remaining items to Phase 3. The board noted the video inspection system may have saved significant money by reducing the need for expensive vacuum truck deployments.
