PACER Fund in Montpelier Has About Four Openings Left This Year
From the Montpelier Redevelopment Commission meeting on October 12, 2026
Montpelier's PACER façade-Improvement Program has nearly used up this year's money, with redevelopment officials saying only about four openings remain.
Officials said the program has used or obligated about $110,000 of its $150,000 budget. In June, the city was reporting $81,000 in projects with room for more. Monday's update shows the program moved much closer to its annual cap over the summer and early fall.
The commission also read a thank-you note from a participant who said the PACER structure helped cover upfront improvement costs.
The update did not change the program's rules, but it showed steady demand for the city's property-improvement incentive.
