Montpelier Fire Station Grant Application Confirmed Submitted to State

The Montpelier fire station grant application has been submitted to the Indiana Department of Commerce. A presenter at the Redevelopment Commission meeting confirmed: "The fire station project, we had our last hearing on that last month, and that's in right now for the Indiana Department of Commerce for funding."
The submission follows the third and final required public hearing. Award decisions are expected in the first week of September 2026. The city has committed $161,300 in local matching funds.
