Indiana Primary Election — May 5, 2026

Indiana voters head to the polls tomorrow, May 5, for the 2026 primary election. Early voting ended today at noon.

For Blackford-area voters, this primary covers federal, state and county races — not municipal offices. The contested races most relevant to the area include U.S. Representative District 3, State Senate District 19 and Blackford County seats.

Polls will be open from 6 AM to 6 PM. Results will be posted on the Indiana Election Night Reporting site at enr.indianavoters.in.gov after polls close at 6 PM ET.
