Hartford City’s Halloween trick-or-treat hours will be Saturday, October 31, from 4–8 p.m., Dan Eckstein announced October 16.

That is separate from the downtown trunk-or-treat event scheduled for October 24. Eckstein praised Arts Council organizers and said prospective trunk participants could contact the city to sign up.

He did not announce October 24 event hours during the update. No new street-closure action or spending approval accompanied the announcements.
