Dunkirk Pickleball Court Nearing Completion; Painting Set for May 7

Dunkirk's pickleball court is nearing completion, with concrete fully poured, fencing installed, and court painting scheduled for approximately May 7.

Park Board member Donald reported the progress at the April 22 meeting. Lighting installation is expected on a weekend within the next month.

The board is also developing rules and guidelines for the court. Members received a packet of sample rules from other communities and plan to finalize a posted rule set at the next meeting, which would align with the court's expected completion.

The pickleball court project has been in the works since earlier this year when construction began and the board reviewed lighting quotes.
