From the Blackford County Commissioners meeting on October 19, 2026

County Road 600 East just south of State Road 26 was expected to remain closed through the week of October 19, and possibly longer, Highway Superintendent Pluimer reported.

Hoosier Pride was repairing the culvert, with pipe assembly expected Wednesday and Thursday. The Ledger previously reported that a closure between State Road 26 and 100 South was scheduled to begin October 15.

Pluimer also reported that County Road 200 South between 600 East and 700 East would close for culvert replacement. He attributed damage on both sides of that pipe to solar-construction traffic and said the responsible party was paying for repairs. He did not identify that party or give a repair amount.

At a separate County Road 500 East structure, the north wing walls had been set. Work on the south side was expected next, with reopening hoped for November 1.

Those dates were estimates given at the meeting, not guaranteed reopening dates.
