From the Montpelier Board of Public Works meeting on October 14, 2026

Demolition had begun at Baldwin Park, Montpelier's street report said October 14, two days after redevelopment contract actions moved the project forward.

The Ledger previously reported that an October 12 rebid reduced the shelter-house portion of the project and led to new contract actions. The street report supplied a field-work update.

Some playground equipment was at the ball diamond. The report did not establish whether it was stored, installed or ready for public use. No opening date or demolition cost was announced.
