Dunkirk approved a $100 sponsorship for the Youth Service Bureau's Christmas effort Oct. 26 and renewed support for the Dunkirk food pantry.

Mayor Robbins said the city had provided the same $100 amount for the Christmas effort in 2025.

For the food pantry, Robbins noted that Dunkirk had given $200 in February 2026. The council approved renewed support, but the amount of the new contribution was not announced clearly.
