Shamrock Lakes Board Approves Shed Replacement, Waives Late Fees for Bereaved Family
From the Town of Shamrock Lakes Town Board meeting on June 18, 2026
The Shamrock Lakes town board unanimously approved two resident requests at its June 18 meeting.
Dan Ferris, a resident at Lot 94, received approval to replace a rotted shed with a new one in his backyard. The shed will be placed on a rock base, inside his fence, on his property. He still needs a $50 county permit from the county building and zoning office. Clerk-Treasurer Diane Nichols will send an approval letter.
The board also unanimously waived $19.20 in late fees — covering March, April, and May — on the account at 2022 North Shamrock belonging to the late John and Sandy Buffalo. John Buffalo passed away a couple of years ago, and Sandy Buffalo died in March 2026. Their daughter, Karen Digman, has been making $50 payments but missed one month due to the family circumstances.
The board also noted two past-due accounts: Appleby at $189.98 and Younger at $269.18. No liens were filed this month.
