The Blackford County Emergency Management Agency is updating its multi-hazard mitigation plan, a process that occurs on a five-year cycle. The Lake Association president will represent Shamrock Lakes at the May 7 planning meeting at the courthouse, as all three board members are unavailable that date. Participation keeps the town eligible for federal mitigation funding.
