Shamrock Lakes Lake Association Rules Draft Nears 20 Pages

From the Shamrock Lakes Town Board meeting on July 16, 2026

Steve Waller has drafted a 20-plus page document covering rules, responsibilities, and regulations for the Lake Association. The document still needs review by attorney Danielle, particularly regarding boat registration language. The plan is to publish, print, and deliver the rules to every resident.

The board also discussed access to park facilities for town residents who are not Lake Association members. Current association rules restrict non-members from using Lake Association areas unless invited. The board reached consensus that facilities in Wells Park should be open to all town residents, not just association members.

Progress on the rules has been slowed by Waller's upcoming move to Hawaii. It is unclear who will take over the project after his departure.
