Shamrock Lakes Board Vacancy Unresolved as Member's Departure Nears

From the Shamrock Lakes Town Board meeting on July 16, 2026

The board vacancy left by Rachel's departure remains unfilled. Paul Bailey has expressed interest in the position, but the board chair noted there are "differing opinions" on the appointment process. The chair said he would work to resolve the issue and hopes Bailey can be seated and voting by the next meeting.

The matter is urgent: board member Steve Waller confirmed during the meeting that he will be present for only "the next two to four weeks" before his move to Hawaii. If Bailey's appointment is not resolved before Waller departs, the board could face quorum concerns.
