Shamrock Lakes Authorizes New Community Crossings Bid
From the Town of Shamrock Lakes Town Board meeting on September 17, 2026
Shamrock Lakes officials voted Sept. 17 to move ahead with a new Community Crossings Matching Grant application for street work, focusing first on South Shamrock and possibly Meridian Street.
Before the vote, Michael Nichols said the town had received an initial proposal from E&B, but the price came in above what officials wanted to spend. He said the scope was being trimmed while staying within the prior agreement.
Nichols described Community Crossings as an 80-20 program that the town has used for larger paving projects. The board's vote did not set a final contract amount, but it started the grant-application step for another round of road work.
The revised E&B price and the town's expected local match were not stated during the meeting.
