The Shamrock Lakes Town Board unanimously approved an $11,790 contract with Fluid Waste Services for Phase 2 sewer maintenance, which includes video inspection and cleaning of sewer lines.
The company performed the same work last year, and this year's quote came in approximately $100 higher than last year's estimate. Last year's Phase 2 work came in under estimate because only three short sections required cleaning — the rest of the sewer system was in good shape.
