From the Shamrock Lakes Town Board meeting on July 16, 2026

Resident Larry Wright submitted a complaint about vegetation growth at the dam area, specifically on the north side of the road at the riprap area. The landscape company that maintains the grounds for the Lake Association treated weeds in the area but missed the section Wright identified. The Lake Association president is monitoring the situation and the crew will address it.

The board noted they are generally pleased with the lake treatment program. The five lakes are at good levels, and algae is being managed through ongoing treatment.
