From the Blackford County School Board meeting on October 13, 2026

Blackford County Schools instructional aides were being offered paid training through Master Teacher, Superintendent Yencer said October 13 in response to a question about preparation for classroom needs.

A board member asked about training for special education and challenging behavior. Yencer said Sarah Price was organizing the work, including a September session and two more during two-hour-delay periods.

The course catalog covers special needs, behavior and interventions. No new training-contract vote occurred, and the price of the service and required training hours were not stated.
