Christopher Ryan Baker, 36, of Montpelier, a previously convicted sex offender, has been arrested and charged with felony child solicitation and failure to register as a sex offender.

According to Fox 59, Baker was communicating on Snapchat with someone he believed to be a 14-year-old girl. The person he was messaging was actually an investigator conducting a sting operation. Baker arranged to meet at King's Park, where he was arrested on Monday, June 16.
