Montpelier Police Receive New Bulletproof Vests, Grant to Cover Half

Montpelier's police department has received new bullet-resistant vests at a total cost of approximately $10,000. Chief Snider will apply for reimbursement through a bulletproof vest grant program that pays 50%, bringing the city's net cost to approximately $5,000.
