Montpelier Offers Sidewalk Match at Jefferson and Green
From the Montpelier meeting on October 26, 2026
A Montpelier official whose name was not identified told a resident Oct. 26 that the city would match repair work on a root-damaged brick sidewalk at Jefferson and Green.
The statement came in response to a question about sidewalk cost-sharing. No repair price or city payment amount was specified during the exchange, and it did not establish whether the offer fell under an existing citywide policy or was specific to that location.
