Multiple Sidewalk Projects Underway in Montpelier

Multiple sidewalk projects are in progress or planned in Montpelier. A new sidewalk on High Street near the bar area was started on June 8, and a second High Street sidewalk near apartments has a completion deadline of before July 4 for the celebration. Additional sidewalk work in the Meridian area is planned but will wait until current road construction is complete.
The city is using its own contractor for sidewalk work, separate from the road paving contractor.
