Montpelier's little league had 71 signups as of April 13, with possibly more coming. The mayor said there will be at least two teams in every division, with three or four in some — including three T-ball teams.

Baseball fence replacement at the fields will wait until after the season concludes. The Ball Diamond has received recent improvements, including millings from the last paving project being used to create extra parking at the old tennis court area.
