Montpelier Jamboree Set for Labor Day Weekend — Collin Raye Headlining, Beer Sales Approved
From the Montpelier City Council meeting on July 6, 2026
The 2026 Montpelier Jamboree will run September 3–6, Thursday through Sunday over Labor Day weekend. Country artist Collin Raye is the headline performer — he was originally booked for 2025 but was double-booked.
Jamboree Committee President David Harriet, who has led the committee since 2008, presented the plans. The carnival will feature 20 rides, up from 17 last year. The Blackford County Community Foundation provided a donation to the Jamboree. Pre-sale ticket numbers are reportedly the carnival company's highest across all their events.
The council unanimously approved beer sales for the Sunday, September 6 concert, approximately 5:30 PM to 10 PM. This approval is required annually.
