Montpelier Employee Working Toward Mosquito Spraying License
From the Montpelier Board of Works & Safety meeting on July 15, 2026
City employee Carter passed his first mosquito spraying license and is studying for a second, which is needed before city-wide spraying can begin. In the meantime, American Pest Control is spraying city parks once a month.
Once Carter obtains both licenses, the city plans to establish a regular spraying schedule and take requests from residents for problem areas.
