Montpelier: Creek Run Expansion Breaks Ground — 12-Inch Water Tap Ordered

By Derek Wheeler The Blackford Ledger

From the Montpelier Board of Works meeting on June 9, 2026

Water Superintendent Chase Perry reported ordering a 12-inch water tap for a building expansion at Creek Run, where construction has broken ground. Perry noted the location is at a dead end on the water system, which may require periodic flushing to prevent stagnant water.

He described the tap installation as "hopefully a relatively easy job" depending on parts delivery.
