Montpelier Body Camera Grant Still Pending, Axon Quote Delayed

Montpelier's effort to equip its police department with body cameras remains in a holding pattern. Chief Snider reported he has been in contact with Axon, a major body camera manufacturer, but described the process as "playing tag." Axon has not yet provided a price quote based on the department's needs.
Snider also has not received word on the grant application the department submitted to help cover costs. He does not know when awards will be announced.
