Montpelier: Baldwin Park Playground Going Out for Bid — Pavilion Plans Awaiting Approval

The Baldwin Park and Kevin Ford Aerospace Pavilion project is advancing in phases. The DNR has approved plans for playground equipment and site amenities. The LWCF (Land and Water Conservation Fund) portion will go out for bid, with asphalt bid as an alternate alongside the playground.

Plans for the pavilion and restroom are still awaiting approval from DNR and Homeland Security. Dave Kieser said approval "should be any day." The city hopes to have playground and asphalt bids out by the end of July. The pavilion and restroom will be bid separately at a later date.
