Lake Mohee Dam Project Still Awaiting Federal Funding in Blackford County

The Lake Mohee Dam project has not been included in the Department of Defense budget, Economic Development Director Warren Brown reported at the July 8 County Council meeting.
Brown said he personally spoke with the general of the Indiana National Guard, who confirmed the Guard supports the project. However, federal funding remains the bottleneck.
"I'm not holding my breath but we live in hope," Brown said.
