Jamboree Access and Truck Routes Questioned in Montpelier
From the Montpelier Board of Public Works meeting on October 14, 2026
A Montpelier public commenter requested attention to wheelchair access and truck routing during Jamboree weekend, and Brad Neff said the event committee would address the concerns next year.
The commenter asked whether the layout was inspected beforehand and whether truck traffic could be diverted. No formal accessibility plan, detour or spending commitment was adopted.
The exchange did not establish a change in the city's truck-route ordinance.
