Two Hartford City Property Standards Cases Head to Circuit Court July 16

Two Property Standards Board cases are scheduled for Circuit Court hearing on July 16 at 3:00 PM before Judge Boddie: 525 West Fulton Street, where the owners received a continuance to seek legal representation, and 816 North Walnut Street.

Separately, the case for 518 West Kickapoo Street was continued to October in court. A land trust and contractor are supposed to contact Ordinance Control Officer Dennis Maddox for an inspection to develop a consent decree — an agreement setting cleanup requirements enforceable by the court — but the attorney involved has not responded to City Attorney Tyler Rothstein's follow-up.
