Hartford City officials provided final details on the annual Saturday in the Park celebration on July 4, but acknowledged no rain-out day has been established if storms disrupt the event.

Derek Jones will perform starting around 7:00 PM, with a veterans honoring ceremony before the concert. Live wrestling organized by Parks Board member Tyler Hunt is also planned, along with water inflatables, a water balloon fight, food vendors, and fireworks at dusk.

“We really don’t have a rain out day yet. We’re going to see how the weather is,” a city official said during the stream. Officials said they would update residents if weather forces changes.

City Hall will be closed Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day.
