From the Hartford City City Council meeting on June 1, 2026

Mayor Dan Eckstein told council that a 13-acre city-owned parcel behind the street department has attracted interest from multiple potential developers. The city has held the land since 1984. The parcel is near Mako Manufacturing.

The mayor said the property would need two to three appraisals and would follow the same statutory disposal process as the four smaller lots the council also approved for sale at the same meeting.
