Board of Public Works and Safety Approves Sept. 8 Claims After Housing Study Question
From the Hartford City Board of Public Works and Safety meeting on September 8, 2026
Hartford City's Board of Public Works and Safety approved its Aug. 17 meeting minutes and a new claims package on Sept. 8, after one board member asked about a charge tied to a housing study.
The board approved the Aug. 17 minutes by a 3-0 vote. When the board moved to claims, Pam Weiseman asked about line item 27502. Clerk-Treasurer Dana Whatley identified it as a housing-needs-assessment project item.
Dan Eckstein said the charge came from "a housing study they just completed." After that exchange, the board approved the claims package 3-0.
The transcript preserves the vote, but it does not give the total dollar amount of the claims package or full vendor detail for the housing-study charge.
