The Property Standards Board voted 2-0 to close the case on Shane Branscom's property at 8406 East 5th Street, praising his extensive cleanup work over two years.

Branscom, who appeared by phone, reported hauling away all metal and trash, making the entire yard mowable, and spraying weeds. His son may eventually build on the property.

Chairman Dudelston praised the effort: "You have done a yeoman's job of cleaning that property up. I remember where we were two years ago." Ordinance Control Officer Dennis Maddox will continue informal monitoring, but no further board action is required.
