Dunkirk: Stormwater Fee Reduction and Water Maintenance Fee Coming

By Derek Wheeler The Blackford Ledger

From the Dunkirk City Council meeting on June 8, 2026, and the Dunkirk Board of Works meeting on June 8, 2026

Dunkirk is preparing ordinances to reduce its stormwater fee and add a new water maintenance fee. The ordinances will be introduced at the next council meeting, with a required public notice period before adoption.

To support the new water maintenance fee, the city approved a one-time $1,080 payment to Keystone, its billing system provider, to add the fee to the billing platform.
