Dunkirk Park Board Approves Church Event and Revival at Park Facilities

From the Dunkirk Park Board meeting on April 22, 2026

The Dunkirk Park Board took two actions related to community use of park facilities at its April 22 meeting.

First, the board formally ratified a previous email vote approving a Living Hope Church event at the green space over Easter. The March 25 meeting had been cancelled due to lack of a quorum, so the board handled the approval via email and ratified it at this meeting.

Second, the board approved a park permit for a revival event at the Dunkirk Park big shelter on July 18, 2026, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The organizer, Jeff, expects approximately 50 attendees and has arranged $1 million in liability insurance for $400. He will complete payment and submit insurance documentation to the clerk-treasurer.
