Dunkirk Hydrant Found Barely Functional During City-Wide Flushing

Dunkirk's water department discovered at least one fire hydrant that needs replacement during its city-wide hydrant flushing program the week of April 27. Water supervisor Brock reported the hydrant "barely opens."
The department has a spare hydrant in inventory. The north side of town was completed on the first day of flushing, with the full program expected to run through midweek.
