Dunkirk Eyes $6,000 Ordinance Book Update
From the Dunkirk City Council meeting on July 13, 2026
The mayor presented a quote from American Publishing to update Dunkirk's ordinance book at a cost not to exceed $6,000. The last codification — the process of organizing and updating the city's full ordinance collection — was done approximately two to three years ago, possibly longer.
The city attorney endorsed the update. A council member noted the value, saying American Publishing would go through and update the book with all ordinances passed since the last codification. It was not clear from the meeting whether a formal vote was taken or if the matter was deferred.
