Dunkirk Approves $7,976.78 for Chlorine Room Repairs
From the City of Dunkirk Board of Works and City of Dunkirk City Council meetings on July 13, 2026
The City Council approved $7,976.78 to VMK Solutions for chlorine room repairs. The work included replacing the main feed line, replacing all valves — all of which were bad — and repairing a stuck diaphragm inside one of the injectors. Internal material from deteriorating lines had been clogging valves.
The repairs took nearly three days. The chlorine system is now operational. The Board of Works separately approved a $76.78 bill likely for related parts.
