Dunkirk Approves $221,937 in Claims, Cancels May 25 Meeting

The council approved payment of claims totaling $221,936.65 and a $250 sponsorship for A Better Life – Brianna's Hope for its Hope Fest Health Fair, scheduled for September 12.
The council canceled its May 25 meeting due to Memorial Day and tabled discussion of the city's stormwater fee, water meter fee, and golf cart ordinance.
Council Member Bivens reminded residents that fire hydrant flushing is taking place this week and encouraged spring property cleanup.
