Dunkirk to Advertise 120 4th Street Properties for Sale

Amy Sutton appeared before the Dunkirk City Council expressing interest in purchasing two city-owned properties at 120 4th Street.
Rather than accepting a direct sale, City Attorney Wes will begin the formal process to advertise the properties and accept bids. Indiana law typically requires municipalities to follow public notice and competitive bidding procedures when selling public property.
The minutes do not state how the city came to own the properties, their assessed value, or Sutton's intended use.
