Blackford County commissioners approved driveway permits for the first phase of the Prairie Creek Wind Project after Highway Superintendent Pluimer said he had reviewed the marked driveways and culvert sizes.

The permit action was separate from the 2–1 vote allowing some turbine access-road construction before a County Road 200 East upgrade. An exact tally for the driveway permits was not confirmed.
