Downtown Camp Out Event Coming to Weiler Plaza August 22

A church is hosting a "Downtown Camp Out" community event at Weiler Plaza on Saturday, August 22, running from 6 PM through 1 PM Sunday, August 23.
The council approved a Jefferson Street closure 5-0 — one block beside Weiler Plaza will be closed from 4 PM Saturday to 2 PM Sunday. Police Chief Cody and Streets Director Jeff confirmed no issues with the closure.
