Parks Board Chair Tyler Hunt officially welcomed Daiana Wheeler as the newest member of the Hartford City Parks Board. Wheeler fills an open seat that was discussed at the board's May 12 meeting.

The board previously had four members: Tyler Hunt, Sam Dick, Jessica Tabor, and Ron Parrott. Wheeler is now the fifth member. It was not stated during the meeting whether Wheeler was appointed by Mayor Eckstein.
