Court Departments Plan Integration Starting January 2027

A judge briefed the county council on plans to integrate court departments beginning January 1, 2027. The departments will begin operating under a new structure on that date, even though physical consolidation into a bank building is not expected until the second or third quarter of 2027 and could extend into 2028.

Details on which departments are being integrated, the cost of the building acquisition, and renovation plans were not discussed at length during the meeting.
