County Rescinds Prior 3M Right-of-Way Authorization
Blackford County commissioners voted on Sept. 8 to rescind an earlier right-of-way authorization tied to 3M.
Lancaster said county attorney review raised concern that the county may not have had authority to grant the permission in the form previously approved.
The action reversed a prior county decision because of a possible legal defect, not because commissioners announced a new project plan. The underlying project was not identified in more detail at the meeting.
