County Launches Chip and Seal Program — Montpelier Streets Resurfaced for First Time in 8 Years

The county highway department launched its chip and seal resurfacing program on August 3, covering both county roads and streets in Montpelier.

County roads being resurfaced include 400 North and 650. In Montpelier, the county-maintained streets will be receiving resurfacing work; It is the first time these Montpelier streets have been resurfaced in approximately eight years.

Separately, reduced-speed signs for Millgrove have been ordered and are in production. They will be installed when they arrive.
