The increase matched a broader trend across the region and state — Henry, Jay, and Wayne counties all saw identical 0.4-point rises, while Delaware County bucked the trend with a 0.3-point decrease.

Blackford County was previously tied for the 10th-highest unemployment rate in Indiana based on May 2026 data.
