Blackford County Commissioners approved corrected exhibit language for the Prairie Creek Phase II EDA document set on Sept. 8 after officials said parts of the paperwork had been left out or carried over incorrectly.

Economic Development Director Warren Brown told commissioners the problem involved Exhibit F and another exhibit in the agreement package. During discussion, Lancaster said the vote restored language that had already been agreed to at an earlier commissioners meeting.

The meeting discussion did not attach specifics to the correction. It focused on getting the record to match the agreement commissioners believed they had already approved.

That matters because even a technical fix can change what standards or obligations apply under an economic-development agreement.
