Commissioners handled several additional items at their May 4 meeting.

They signed the combined subdivision participation and release form for the opioid settlement (RDSA) after attorney review. The county previously joined the opioid settlement earlier this year.

A coroner vehicle trade was approved at $26,680, funded from the existing garage, motor vehicle, and cornerstone perpetuation budget. The trade swaps a 2021 crew cab for a new equivalent. Public vehicle and standard discounts saved approximately $6,000.

Two items were deferred to the May 18 meeting: the jail generator replacement, as the sheriff was absent but communicated that details could be discussed next meeting, and greenway funding, as Mayor and Dustin George did not attend.

Commissioners also approved regular claims of $177,739.64, miscellaneous claims of $17,396.56, payroll of $100,379.60, and a payroll period payment of $187,838.64.
